4th.Feb '2009_Abang Jol's Birthday.

I had wished Abang Jol "Happy Birthday" last Monday on 2nd.Feb (public holiday for KL because of Federal Territory Day) 2 days prior to his birthdate, the 4th.of Feb. I wished him during YM with him on Monday morning around 12am Malaysian time equivalent to 1700hrs Germany time :-)

*Abg plays fussbal/soccer/football/bolasepak, sepakbola, whatever you'd call it. So this card is for him. :)

Needless to say every Gong Xi Fa Cai Abang also 'celebrate' his birthday because 17 years ago the Chinese ushered in the GXFC Monkey year on the 4th.of Feb. :-)

Babah bawak mi 'un (mee hoon) Mama masak.Makan kat kantin sekolah aje.

Abang makan sorang mi 'un.Babah makan 2,3,4,5 garpu.

Babah kata sekolah di belakang tu dia design masa keja office lama kat J*R. :-)

Tahniah pada Abang dapat jadi Komandan dan pasukan TIKL menang tempat ke 3.

Abang dipilih menjadi Ketua Komandan pasukan pengakap TIKL!

Babah & Mama mengambil cuti rehat untuk melihat abg & pasukan2 sekolah lain bertanding di dalam "Pertandingan Kawad Pasukan Badan Berunifom Sekolah2 Menengah Zon Pudu 2008" di Padang Kawas Palapes Universiti Malaya 1 April 08.

P/S Babah dulu pun Pasukan Simpanan Sukarelawan TLDM, jadi Babah dah tahu debaran mengetuai pasukan kawad serta berkawad ditengah panas yang terik :-)

Big Bro Leaves BBST for Technical School.27Jan'08

Big Bro's leaving Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (BBST) Secondary School for Technical School. He was offered to study Form 4 at the Technical School. That 27th. was his last when we were sending Kid Bro back to the hostel.

Before leaving BBST for good, Big Bro who plays handball for the school team, went down to the field to play handball with his hostel friends and juniors and taught them some tactics of the game.

From now on, Kid Bro will be 'on his own' without his brother around at the hostel, hihihi.
*Anyway, both of them told me that they never 'cling' to each other at the hostel for 'no reasons' for they have their own circle of friends...but I think Kid Bro will miss his brother...ahh,anyway he (Kid Bro) will grow up :-)

Sports Day2007 @ BBST

For 3 consecutive days Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi(BBST) secondary school had their annual school sports day, beginning Thursday 22Feb until Saturday the 25th.Feb'2007. Games started at 8 am and ended nearly 12 noon.
Zizol & kid brother Redza participated from day one until the final day.Zizol represents 'purple' house with 'U824' participation number while Redza from the 'yellow' house with 'K641' as his participation number.
Big bro Zizol faired better by bagging golds & bronze & participated in more events than kid bro Redza. Zizol bagged gold in the 100meters dash, silver 4x100 & bronze in the long jump (on the first day). In high jump Zizol was the top 5, saw him did the 'Fosbury flop'.
Kid bro Redza won bronze in long jump and the 400m dash on Saturday. Both of them were in different age category.
Mum & Dad got 3rd. placing in the 'coconut throwing' event for parents, ala lawn bowl.

It was a hot day indeed but it was worth watching aspiring sports stars in the making. Kudos to BBST for making the annual school sports a great event.

Zizol's Streetsoccer team 'Supernova' in AXN @ Karnival Putrajaya

Saturday 16th.Dec'06.
Babah (aka Dad),Zizol,Redza & cousin Azmir left Corrus for Putrajaya after 5.30am (but it was not suboh yet).Stopped at R&R Seremban north-bound to perform the morning prayers.Quickly Babah drove to the Nilai lay-by for breakfast.All 4 ordered nasi lemak (coconut milk or 'santan' was not a good choice for that morning streetsoccer,I guess). Eventually, everyone was back into the car but Babah saw the car was slightly 'lower' at the right hand side...The doubt was answered 5 minutes after they left Nilai lay-by when Zizol broke the morning silence "Babah, the back left tyre feels like it is punctured!". "Ok-we'll stop and see as soon as I found a safe place to stop" Babah said. It was true, the left back tyre was flat and that was around 7.30am and near the exit to Bukit Mahkota. Babah thought "Unbolt,jack up the car, replace tyre would take around 1/2 hrs and then we'll be back on track to Putrajaya..." However, Babah phoned up the Peronda Lebuhraya for assistance and acknowledged them of the location.
Meanwhile, Zizol,Azmir & Redza tried to loosened the wheel nuts but failed...Babah said "no point to exert yourself kids, let the Peronda Lebuhraya do their job, they have the tools.."
It was approaching 8am, no sign of the Peronda Lebuhraya coming. Zizol phoned up his other teammates who were from Salak Tinggi to go straight to the games venue.The show must go on!
After Babah called up the Peronda Lebuhraya toll free number for the 3rd.time, a Plus truck finally arrived.Babah shook hands with Mahathir the Peronda officer and explained the situation. Mahathir took out his tyre removing tools, put it on the car jack and voila! all 4 nuts were unfastened. Zizol,Azmir & Redza replaced the flat tyre with the spare tyre from thr booth but Mahathir warned "this spare tyre can only run at 80km speed and no further than 80km distance or else it will burst!". After saying thank you to Mahathir and his colleague , it was on the road to Putrajaya.
Time: around 9am.
The event have not started. Supernova did not miss any matches though. Supernova now has Zizol, Azmir, Mustakim, Iznan, Bazli and Aspa, while kid brother Redza as the substitute.
There was 2 category ie. the open category and the Under 18. Supernova was playing in the Under-18. Participating teams were divided into 2 groups and Supernova was in group 2. Games will be played alternately, under-18 game followed by an open category game and vice versa. Supernova had to play 3 matches that Saturday. Babah watched a few Supernova matches and during some occasions shouted "That's my boy!" when Zizol scored goals. (That was so like Pak Abu, Azizol Abu Haniffah Perak soccer player's father who used to shout like that whenever Azizol scored goals:-)) Supernova won 2 matches out of the 3 matches and was 2nd.in the group. Therefore Supernova had play against the winner of group 1, tomorrow on Sunday. It was a sweet beginning for Zizol and his teammates.Not bad after all.

Day 2: Sunday 17 Dec'06
Supernova's match was played around 10 am something. When babah came back from getting something to eat at the nearby stalls, Zizol said "We lost our game". He was not sure if there would be another game for what ever placing. However, later it was made known Supernova has to play for the 3rd.placing....and the RM100 price.
Supernova won but Babah did not saw their victory. Zizol said earlier on Iznan's father Azman had made a challenge to them if Supernova wins, he would add on RM50 to the RM100 price. So, Supernova received the RM100 plus RM50 and divided the money among the players...they went to Alamanda, had a 2-frames of ten pin bowling game....Babah said, "In future, Supernova can now think of participating in any other tournaments".Syabas to Supernova!!!

"Supernova", Zizol's streetsoccer team:The Beginning...

Babah a.k.a Dad took back the Karnival Putrajaya 2006 streetsoccer competition form on the ticket counter at the Precinct 16 community centre, after chatting with the counter person,before heading for the swimming pool.Took it home and simply put it on his study table and was 'discovered' by Zizol as he was looking for something on Babah's table. Zizol got exited and shouted"Hah, streetsoccer! Nak masoklah!"
Babah questioned Zizol "your mum has booked the Corrus PD apartment over this weekend for you people and her sisters & your grandma a weekend retreat..., mmm...but if you want to participate we can send an entry & sacrifice the retreat. But, anyway can set up a team?today's Wednesday,we're leaving for PD tomorrow (Thursday) night". Zizol reassured "It's only PD, dah biasa pergi.I only require 6 players, me, (kid bro) Redza, cousin Azmir in Puchong and one or two friends from Salak Tinggi".
The form has to reach the games secretariate by Friday (but Thursday night after Zizol's tuition the family will be heading for Corrus PD), so that Wednesday Zizol had to think fast who will make up the team and Babah had to think who could send the form in to the secretariate.
Babah called up Pakcik Madir if he's not working on a day shift on Friday to submit the form.Madir said "sorry Abang, saya kerja siang lah minggu ni". Babah called up Pakcik Napi, our next door neighbour, a young father. Pakcik Napi agreed. The form was filled up by Zizol, stapled the RM10 ringgit note 'sponsored' by Babah. Babah read the particulars curiously "Your team called 'Supernova'?why 'Supernova'?". Zizol explained " 'Nova', star or stars that twinkle for a few moment in the sky, So...Supernova, superstars-lah!!!".
After Zizol's tuition at 2200hrs and before leaving for PD, Babah gave form to Pakcik Napi and said he will call for the competition's updates.
That night at Corrus PD, Babah reminded Zizol, Redza and cousin Azmir to "sleep early as tomorrow we're to leave for Putrajaya before 5am, pray suboh at R&R Seremban and breakfast at Nilai layby." But Zizol,Redza and cousin Azmir was seen awake until 3am....
