Once a forthnight the janitor/cleaner will clean all the rooms at the Lise Meitner Strasse apartment. However, I was not aware of that and that 'today' was the cleaning day. *Hahaha, but I am sure it was stated in the contract:-)
For all I know that very Tuesday morning at 10am I got a knock at the door and this lady was saying something in Deutsch & as usual I'd said "Ich sprechen keine Deutsch, Englisch bitte". Well..she said something like "Nicht schade spreche ich Englisch nicht/Sorry, I don't speak English".
Hence, unsure of the circumstances, I closed the room door until she knocked once again & showed me the cleaning schedule. I read the English version. Ahso...then I allowed her to come in for her to do the cleaning,vacuuming,mopping the toilet floor but not rubbish disposal or cleaning the kitchenette. (Well, that is too good enough :-) ). She took about an hour or more to do her cleaning. Good job indeed! Very competence!

Before she leaves, I said to her "Danke schon & I must learn Deutsch" and she said happily with a smile "Das ist richtig/That is right" :-)
