Program Pemuafakatan Restu PMR @Sek.Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Sepang. Selasa 22 Jan'2008.

Adek di Tingkatan 3 akan mengambil PMR tahun ini.Oleh yang demikian seperti lazimnya, Sekolah Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Sepang telah mengadakan Program Majlis Restu PMR bersama pelajar-ibu/bapa-guru pada hari Selasa 22 Jan'08.

8.30pg- 12tgh. Dewan Terbuka Sekolah BBST.

Agenda adalah seperti berikut:-
Ucapan YDP PIBG Sdr.Helmi,
Ucapan Pengetua En.Hisamuddin,
Taklimat program2 utk pemantapan PMR pelajar2 BBST seperti Kem Smart Arab, Kelas Tambahan, Malam Munajat, Gerak Gempur dsb.
Dialog & soal-jawab bersama ibu-bapa,
Ikrar 'Akujanji' pelajar2 PMR,
Para pelajar mendapatkan ibu-bapa/penjaga, berbincang serta mencatitkan target gred subjek2 PMR,
-pelajar tanda-tangani borang Akujanji.
-pelajar mendapatkan ibu/bapa untuk restu serta ibu-bapa menanda-tangani borang Akujanji pelajar.
Bersurai. Program bersama ibu/bapa tamat.
Pelajar berhimpun mendengar taklimat guru kaunseling Pn.Zaiton.

Pengetua memberi penerangan
Pelajar2 Tkt.3 mengambil tempat sebelum bacaan ikrar Akujanji.

Kid Bro Reza's NST Creative Writing Workshop@3C Complex,Subang Jaya. Saturday 19th.Jan'08

New Straits Times Creative Writing Workshop
Date:Saturday 19th.Jan'2008
Venue:Galeri Seni 3C *the C's stand for Children Ctreativity Centre*, SS13/2 Subang Jaya.
Time:10am-5pm.

The workshop started at 10am but we (Daddy and Kid Bro Reza) came earlier than that so we decided to have our breakfast & later wander around the complex since that was our first time around (needless to say, before we moved to Putrajaya, our house was just opposite this complex, alas at that time this complex has not been built yet!!).

There are many function rooms such as the Islamic activity room, library, mini zoo etcetera.
Kid Bro Reza managed to wander around the mini zoo and some activity corners before the workshop started. Quite a beautiful and interesting building despite the site constraint.

From the glass door I could see round tables to group the participants. Food and refreshment was provided. Kid Bro Reza said the workshop was very beneficial and looking forward for more!

Sports Day2007 @ BBST

For 3 consecutive days Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi(BBST) secondary school had their annual school sports day, beginning Thursday 22Feb until Saturday the 25th.Feb'2007. Games started at 8 am and ended nearly 12 noon.
Zizol & kid brother Redza participated from day one until the final day.Zizol represents 'purple' house with 'U824' participation number while Redza from the 'yellow' house with 'K641' as his participation number.
Big bro Zizol faired better by bagging golds & bronze & participated in more events than kid bro Redza. Zizol bagged gold in the 100meters dash, silver 4x100 & bronze in the long jump (on the first day). In high jump Zizol was the top 5, saw him did the 'Fosbury flop'.
Kid bro Redza won bronze in long jump and the 400m dash on Saturday. Both of them were in different age category.
Mum & Dad got 3rd. placing in the 'coconut throwing' event for parents, ala lawn bowl.

It was a hot day indeed but it was worth watching aspiring sports stars in the making. Kudos to BBST for making the annual school sports a great event.
