Day55_Samstag/Saturday7Marz09_To Hannover

Train : The Regional Express (RE).
ETD: 1018hrs. Gleis/platform:6.
Waiting for RE arrival at Bremen hauptbahnhof. A delay of 5 mins.Passenger sitting next to Wan who looks like the late 'Elvis' :-)
-------------------------------------------------
*Arrival at Hannover hauptbahnhof/central station.
1143hrs.
------------------------------------------------
*Moving around Hannover city centre.

Hannover cityscape #1. At the hauptbahnhof.
It was drizzling...then finding the Tourist Information office just in front of the hauptbahnhof.

We did not take the tram since the places we intended to go were accessible by foot. *Safe money?:-)

Jimat duit. Tuhan beri kaki untuk berjalan...:-)

Statue of man with umbrella.
Menumpang teduh dari hujan renyai ketika itu..."tumpang teduh ye Pakcik..."
Hannover cityscape # 2.

We decide to go to the Rathaus or Dom. We can see the Rathaus or Dom's rooftop from afar, so we kept walking, hoping we'll reach the building using their rooftop as a guidance...
Freiderich Von Schiller statue
We passed by the 1Euro shop and bought things for family & friends. This 1Euro shop has more items than the one we had in Bremen :-)

Fussball mug for Big Bro who plays soccer.Cawan bola utk Abang yg jadi striker ...

Clevertorstr.
Lots of Turkiye shops and supermarkets.

We went into various supermarkets (to compare prices, Bremen & Hannover?) & shoplots.
This shop sells clothings & original CD's sold at 10Euro. That's Turkiye singer, Ismail YK. I have already upload his 2 songs into my blog songlist :-)
Boleh tahan sedap lagu2 Ismail YK...rupa lawa suare sedap takpe, jgn rupa lawa suare hancuz...sapa nak beli album? :-)
--------------------------------------------------

*At Hannover's Flohmarkt.

From Clevetorstr we decided to make a circle back to the hauptbahnhof through one of the roads. Beyond our knowledge, 'this' road we were about to pass thru is the Flohmarkt area, mere coincidental. We did not know Hannover has flohmarkt on Saturdays. We saw tents along the streets & river from Clevertorstr, so we decided to get a closer look. Then,...ah! Flohmarkt! *Hahaha, you know how I love going to flohmarkts/fleamarkets! :-)

The city ring (red lines painted on the road/pavement surface to mark /confine tourist zone). Street signs will tell.

Flohmarkt Greeze.

The street sign 'Flohmarkt Greenze' to show demarkation of Flohmarkt.

The flohmarkt overlooking Clevertorstrs.

With Herrn.Lukas

Herrn.Lukas (above pic), the kind gentleman, sold me a Deutschland cap, muffler and a small memoralia of FIFA-Fussball Deutschland 2006 all for 1Euro! I can't believe it when he said "Eine Euro". No further thinking, I handed him the 1Euro.
Mana nak dapat Dek, 3 barang camtu 1Euro! :-)

Making a complete circle back to where we came earlier on to the flohmarkt.

Patah balik. Herrn.Horst who sold me a metal card holder.
'Interesting' iron item. See red circle. Can't see? Closer look below.

Abg ternampak benda besi ni!So heavy! Item made from iron depicting a man & a woman @#%&*)^! You know how much it cost? 100Euro! Too expensive!

Patung besi boleh letak atas meja aksi jate (jantanz) betino sedang ber*****! Korangz jangan teruja dah!hahahaha!

Mahal 100Euro,dah lah berat :-)

The river/stream or big drain that separates the flohmarkt areas.

*Pic was taken by a kind elderly gentleman.Danke!

-------------------------------------------------

*Walking from flohmarkt via Georgstrasse etc. to the hauptbahnhof .

I just love this street scene!

At Holzmarkt:Old townhall with fountain.

Notice the 'red line' on the pavement? The 'red line' is the 'City Ring'. Sort of a demarkation made by the authorities to 'confine' the tourist zone from the city area. It acts like a guide to tuorist.

Garisan merah yg diberi nama 'City Ring'. Dilukis atas jalan oleh PBT sebagai meng'confine'kan kawasan pelancungan dlm bandaraya ini.

Passed by the Lower Saxony State Parliament. I heard nice music played by a group of musicians...

Nice music!

A shopping complex was having summer clothes promotion.Humans models in beach attires (in a cold weather)! But of course its behind the glass panels in the building...

Ada shopping complex buat promosi pakaian tepi pantai.Model orang beraksi tepi pantai pakai pakaian camtu sejuk2 (tp dlm bangunan, panas). Org pun berhenti (macam saya) utk melihat dgn lebih dekat lagi...:-P

The ladies were throwing a beach ball while the man in beach thrunks drinks away :-)

Mamat tu relaks aje pakai swimming trunk sedang 2 org gadisz itu bermain bola...
People stopped by to watch them...including me!hahaha!

Adakah promosi camni di Malaysia?:-)

Street scene 1: Georgstr.

The famous Georgstr. I guess it's as busy as any pedestrain mall. I felt like being in Oxford Street London :-P

Streetscene 2:Talented musicians.

They did not sing, just played their musical instrument.

Streetscene 3:Street singers at Georgstr.

Talented singers selling own CD's. When we came to the scene, they were finishing their last song. *The singer (in black pullover) was not only good looking but had a great voice ;-) No,did not buy his CD.

Cara penyanyi mempromo & menjual CD mereka dgn menyanyi & menjual ditepi jalan is very common in Europe. Abg belum lagi ke US so tak boleh comment. Siap boleh sign autograf lagi. Penyanyi ni hah, kacak lawa, suara sedap, kalau kat M'sia gerenti beres jadi top artis. Apa komen KRU records?Hahaha!

Street scene 4:Youth selling burger & other fried food.
Anak muda yg gigih berniaga menual burger.Tak jumpa di M'sia.Kalau ada pun nak ke anak muda kita buat mcm ni? :-)

-----------------------

*At the hauptbahnhof , back to Bremen.

Ernst August.
The 'Koenig Von Hannover' (King from Hannover) statue at the hauptbahnhof square.
Patung 'Raja dari Hannover'.

At the 'Niki de Saint Phalle Promenade' shopping plaza which is connected and leads to the hauptbahnhof.

Di kompleks perniagaan 'Niki de Saint Phalle Promenade' yang bersambung dgn stesen keretapi.

Met Mr.Edwin (right),an engineer from Indonesia at the platform to Bremen, who was on his way back to his home at the next station.
Ketemu Bapak Edwin, jurutera berasal dari Indonesia.
Bapak ***lan (kiri) & Bapak Edwin (kanan)

---------------------------------------------------------
One word of advice, go visit Hannover! It's a nice place to go! *There are other ineresting places which we did not go, but you people, go & enjoy!
Auf Wiedersehen.
