Day19_Freitag/Friday30Jan'09_To Al-Fadila Moschee for Friday Prayers.

30 Januar 2009, my third Friday in Bremen Germany. I have printed out name & addresses of various moschee (moschee is 'mosque' in German) in various parts of Bremen city with the intention to pray there. However, I find the Al-Fadila Moschee near the Am Wall tram station very-very convienient and comfortable. It takes roughly 20 mins. from Lise-Meitner where I am staying, by tram of course, to the moschee. Of course I have to alight at the hauptbahnhof / main train station and ascend tram no.1 and alight again at Am Wall station.

Off for Friday prayer. Taking tram from Lise-Meitner to the hauptbahnhof, then tram to Huchting,stop at Am Wall.

Nak pergi solat Juma'at ambil tram dari Lise-Meitner,turun hauptbahnhof/stesen keretapi ambil tram no.1 ke Huchting turun Am Wall.Jauh? Tak-lah 30minit lebih kurang aje:-)

This time around I met Brother B**** , who did the Asr athan call.

Brother B**** had a melodious voice indeed.

Ala-ala lagi satu anak angkat abang kau lah ni :-)

I met also two German Moslem brothers namely M***** or his Moslem name Rejab and S**** . Brother M******* whom I met a week ago was not seen.

Usually I'd stay until the Asar or evening prayers because the time difference between the Friday prayer and Asr prayer during winter is just a mere 2 hrs. And usually I'd be at the food kiosk within the moschee to have Turkish tea in small glass with 2 mini pizza which will cost me Euro1.50. This time around after my first tea, Brother Imad from Lebanon whom I just got to know him, paid for my 2nd.tea. Jazakallah.

I was also taken to the moschee's library where I was shown books, tapes etc by the librarian. Then I also make friends with this Ethopian Moslem brother named Ahmad who translated what the librarian said about syahadah, faith and all.
